Canadian Scholar Visits Huayang Center

On March 29, Professor David VanderZwaag, Professor Emeritus of Law at the Schulich School of Law of Dalhousie University, Canada, visited Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance (Huayang Center). During his visit, he toured the Haikou office of Huayang Center and the Huayang South China Sea Exhibition and held a discussion with the Center’s scholars.

Xu Xiaodong, Executive Vice Chairman of the Huayang Center, introduced Huayang’s development history and future vision. During the visit, Huayang’s interview team conducted an exclusive interview with Professor David VanderZwaag on topics such as cooperation and governance in the South China Sea, the settlement of maritime disputes and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, and the future trajectory of the global order.
